Fred Leslie
Owner/Agent
Fred Leslie has spent more than 40 years helping families and businesses protect what matters most. For the past 27 years, he’s proudly owned and operated WML Insurance, where his commitment to personal service has earned him recognition as Company Person of the Year from both the Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) and the Independent Insurance Agents (BIG I) associations.
Over the years, Fred has also given back through leadership in several organizations, serving as President of the Utah Chapter of Blue Goose International, Vice President of the Utah Scottish Association, and both Chapter and State President of the Backcountry Horsemen of Utah. He also led the National Pony Express Association, Utah Division, reflecting his lifelong love for community, heritage, and the outdoors.
Fred and his wife are the proud parents of four children and grandparents to nine wonderful grandchildren. When he’s not working with clients or volunteering, you’ll likely find him outside riding his horses, Buck and Q-Tip, and enjoying the peace of the open trail.
Derrick Leslie
Agent
Born and raised in Utah, Derrick has always had a love for the outdoors and staying active. Before joining WML Insurance, he spent six years working in the North Dakota oilfields, where he developed a strong work ethic and appreciation for hard, hands-on work.
Derrick brings that same drive and dedication to serving his clients—always striving to help people in any way he can. His commitment to doing things the right way and his genuine care for others make him a valued part of the WML Insurance team.
Garrett Leslie
Office Manager
Garrett joined WML Insurance in 2025 and brings years of leadership and customer experience expertise to the team. With a background in managing large call center operations, he has built a strong reputation for improving workflows, supporting teams, and ensuring customers receive the best service possible.
At WML Insurance, Garrett keeps the office running smoothly—handling customer service, supporting agents, and helping clients find the coverage that fits their needs. His focus on organization, clear communication, and genuine care for people helps create the friendly, reliable experience WML Insurance is known for.
Outside the office, Garrett enjoys spending time with his family, fly-fishing, and exploring the backcountry on backpacking trips.
